About Our Programs:
At Kennedy Krieger Institute, we know that children and adolescents in military families have unique stressors. Our trained staff of behavioral psychologists includes practitioners with military backgrounds or training in military issues, who understand the stresses these families face. We have multiple locations, as well as a telehealth program. Telehealth allows you to connect to behavioral health care from the privacy and safety of your home.
The Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress developed the Eagle Project specifically to target the behavioral health needs of military communities. Techniques used at the Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress have been shown to work effectively with families facing these types of challenges.
Clinical staff from the Behavioral Psychology Department at Kennedy Krieger Institute are experienced in treating behavior problems that often accompany deployment and other military stressors.
