Community resource mapping is a strategy for promoting interagency collaboration by better aligning programs and services for youth and families (National Center on Secondary Education and Transition (NCSET), 2005. The Office for Genetics and People with Special Health Care Needs has partnered with the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities at Kennedy Krieger Institute to conduct this project in each region of the State.

This area of collaboration with the DHMH is a new data analysis and evaluation effort with the DHMH Title V Program (Office of Genetics). This new work will focus on the assessment of needs and resources in local regions of the state along with mapping of resources for dissemination purposes.
