The Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (MCDD) is hosting a Summer Learning Series from early June through mid-August. The series consist of full-day and half-day workshops with interdisciplinary topics focused on working with students and individuals with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities and their families. The Summer Learning Series will help a range of professionals (e.g., teachers, social workers, psychologists, nurses, care providers, paraprofessionals, case managers, speech, physical, and occupational therapists, school counselors, care management staff, faith leaders, community members, parents, students, and others) to expand their knowledge and skills to engage in effective advocacy.
