While MRS and CEST both acquire signals that are proportional to concentration, the determination of actual concentrations relies upon a number of challenging steps including sophisticated modeling of the spectrum, and quantification corrections at each step. The Osprey data analysis platform, which provides full end-to-end MRS data processing quantification and analysis, continues to be developed and disseminated.
A major theme of this renewal is the dissemination of expert knowledge through AI. Working with the community, we are building an online platform to gather subjective ratings of spectral quality based on a large corpus of synthetic and realistic data, which will then be used to train deep learning networks to reproduce for new data. These AI MRS experts will added to Osprey, for expert feedback on data processed, implemented within scanner recon for rapid feedback, while it is still possible to re-acquire data.
