If your submission has been accepted to present at the Kennedy Krieger Institute's Neurodiversity in the Workplace: A Collaborative National Conference, taking place March 22-24, 2023 notices were sent via email on December 21 and January 3.

These sometimes go to the junk mail folder, if you haven't received messages regarding your participation, please check there for communications from the conference committee. 

The deadline to register and update your submission information is this Friday, January 13. To ensure you have all the information you need, the next steps to complete for participation are listed below. We'll also be posting the agenda soon so that you can see when your session is scheduled. 

Registration and hotel accommodation fees are the responsibility of each presenter.

Important note: the conference location has been changed to The Marriott Marquis Washington, DC. Below is the updated information to book your rooms at the rate for conference participants. Please make your accommodations early as these rates will only be available until sold out or until the cutoff date of Wednesday, February 15, 2023. (If you already made room reservations at the Renaissance, they will be transferred to the Marriott Marquis).

1. Review your session information

Final session details must be submitted by Friday, January 13, 2023. Please log into the submission portal and click on “My Submissions” to review and update your session details, including:

  • Presentation Title
  • Abstract Summary
  • Objectives

2. Update your profile information

Log into the submission portal and click on “My Profile” to review and update the profile details as they should appear in conference materials: 

  • Name, organization, title
  • Profile photo (headshot – size: 2mb maximum, file type: .jpg or .png)
  • Biography (100 words maximum)
  • Social media links, if desired

3. Provide profile information for all presenters

Log into the submission portal and click on “My Submissions.” Scroll to the bottom and ensure you have provided information for all session presenters as it should be listed in conference materials:

  • Name, organization, title
  • Profile photo (headshot – size: 2mb maximum, file type: .jpg or .png)
  • Biography (100 words maximum)

4. Register for the conference

All presenters must be registered by Friday, January 13, 2023.

5. Prepare and upload your final presentation

When preparing your presentation, please use the conference PowerPoint template, which can be downloaded from this link. The template contains accessibility guidelines drawn from the Kennedy Krieger Guidelines for Virtual Presenters. View the full guidelines at this link. Final presentations must be uploaded by Friday, March 10, 2023.
To upload your presentation, follow the steps below:

  • Log in to the submission portal.
  • Select “My Submissions” in the top menu.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Upload”
  • Select your presentation from your computer. Acceptable file formats are: *.doc,*.docx,*.pdf,*.ppt,*.pptx,*.rtf,*.txt,*.mp4.
  • Important: Be sure to click “Save and Submit” when finished.
