Meet Timaron, a proud community member of CORE Foundations, a program of the Institute’s Neurodiversity at Work department. Through CORE Foundations, Timaron receives support in his volunteer endeavors. He takes particular delight in volunteering with The Children’s Inn at NIH as well as the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington.
This past summer, the Aberdeen IronBirds, a local Minor League Baseball team, invited Timaron to throw the first pitch at Neurodiversity at Work’s annual Night at the Ballpark, which raises awareness about the contributions individuals with intellectual disabilities bring to the workplace. He is an avid traveler who has visited dozens of cities across multiple continents. Back home, Timaron is fond of watching movies, researching interesting topics online, visiting shopping malls, swimming, dancing and participating in group events.
