We Are One is our employee giving drive, designed to celebrate all staff members as passionate, committed, and generous individuals who embody the spirit of a Kennedy Krieger. The initiative aims to raise $175,000, encourage volunteers to commit to various opportunities, and achieve 100 percent employee participation. The purpose of the employee giving initiative is to improve the lives of the students, patients, and their families to whom we have dedicated our professional lives. Our strategy is to create an enjoyable experience and make it easy for everyone to give back to our community and support one of our favorite charities in its remarkable work—Kennedy Krieger Institute.,
Donating to Kennedy Krieger is easy, and there are many different ways to participate:
- Make an ongoing pledge through payroll deductions or monthly credit card donations
- Make a one-time gift with vacation time, cash, check or credit card
- Volunteer to support the Institute or one of its partners
Every week a new raffle prize will be given away. Participate in the initiative and be entered into that week's raffle for a chance to win free days, gift cards and more!

Be sure to read the weekly We Are One email to find out who the lucky winner is. Winners will be notified by the We Are One team.
Starting January 9, 2026, one deduction will occur in each of the pay periods during which you are paid. Deductions will continue until you request to cancel or make a change. For monthly donations made by credit card, the first donation will be charged immediately, and subsequent donations will continue on a monthly basis until you request that the donations stop. If you have already committed to a payroll deduction, this commitment will carry on throughout 2026.
