We Are One is our employee giving drive, created to celebrate all staff members as passionate, committed, and generous individuals who embody the spirit of Kennedy Krieger. The drive aims to raise $200,000, inspire volunteer engagement across various opportunities, and achieve 100 percent employee participation. At its core, We Are One reflects our shared commitment to improving the lives of the patients, students and families we serve. Our goal is to create an engaging experience, making it easy for everyone to give back to our community and support the remarkable work of Kennedy Krieger Institute.
Donating to Kennedy Krieger is easy, and there are many different ways to participate:
- Make an ongoing pledge through payroll deductions
- Make a one-time gift using vacation time, cash, check, credit card, or through a donor-advised fund. Volunteer to support the Institute or one of its partners
- Make your gift in person by visiting the We Are One Employee Giving Drive table at various locations on the following dates:

Participate in the We Are One Employee Giving Drive and make a difference anyone who signs up or has a recurring payroll deduction will be entered for a chance to win exciting raffle prizes, with the winners drawn at the end of the drive and announced in the final email and contacted by the We Are One Team.
Starting January 9, 2026, one deduction will occur in each of the pay periods during which you are paid. Deductions will continue until you request to cancel or make a change. For monthly donations made by credit card, the first donation will be charged immediately, and subsequent donations will continue on a monthly basis until you request that the donations stop.
