This clinic provides comprehensive rehabilitation evaluation, treatment and follow up for children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of general rehabilitation needs due to developmental disabilities. Special expertise is available in the areas of cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, other acquired brain injuries (e.g. due to infections, strokes, etc), transverse myelitis and chronic graft vs. host disease. The clinics are physician-only clinics, with one exception, which includes an interdisciplinary team. If indicated, a patient can be seen in this interdisciplinary team clinic by a team of rehabilitation professionals including pediatric physiatrists, an educator, psychologists and social workers. This interdisciplinary team is especially appropriate for children with behavioral, cognitive and educational needs, such as those that may occur after a traumatic brain injury.

Primary Goal of the Clinic

The overall goal is to help a child, adolescent or adult function optimally and successfully in her/his home, school and community.

Thursday afternoon, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (physician only)
