Understanding the Associations between Trauma Exposure and Child Behaviors

This is a study of children evaluated and treated at the Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress at Kennedy Krieger Institute.

The Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress provides trauma and evidence-informed mental health services for children exposed to adverse childhood experiences (ACE). ACE includes family (i.e., child physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect and parental risk factors) and community trauma. Descriptive summary and comparisons of baseline and sequential follow-up behavior outcomes will be analyzed in models adjusted for demographic, ACE, diagnoses, medications, treatment, length of treatment, treatment compliance, etc.
