Developmental Trajectories of Impairments, Associated Health Conditions, and Participation of Children with Cerebral Palsy

Principal Investigator:
Frank
Pidcock

The purpose of this research study is to fill the gaps in fundamental knowledge of Cerebral Palsy by determining how children with cerebral palsy or with gross motor delay change in their balance, range of motion, muscle strength, endurance, health conditions, self-care, and participation in everyday play and activities over time. We are also interested in how parents of children with cerebral palsy change in their ease of caregiving for their children. Participants will be asked to attend a minimum of 2 study visits during which a physical examination will be completed by a study team physical therapist and questionnaires will be completed by their caregivers and/or the therapist.
