Mary Ann Wilson, Ph.D., is the Principal Investigator Research Component. Dr. Wilson is an Associate Professor at the Hugo Moser Research Institute at Kennedy Krieger and the Departments of Neurology and Neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Sujatha Kannan, M..D., is the Co-Principal Investigator of the Research Component. Dr. Kannan is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johnson Hopkins University School of Medicine as well as a Research Scientist at the Hugo Moser Research Institute at Kennedy Krieger.

Kannan Rangaramanujam, Ph.D., is a Co-Investigator of the Research Component. Dr. Rangaramanujam is a Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Department of Opthalmology as well as Co-Director for Nanomedicine at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute.

S. Ali Fatemi, M.D., is a Co-Investigator of the Research Component. Dr. Fatemi an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the Director of the Experimental Cell Therapy Program at Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Founding Director of the Moser Center for Leukodystrophies.

Michael V. Johnston, M.D., is a Co-Investigator of the Research Component. Dr. Johnston is an Associate Director of the IDDRC and Director of the Clinical Translational Core. He is the Blum/Moser Chair for Pediatric Neurology at the KKI and Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at the JHUSOM. Dr. Johnston has been KKI’s Chief Medical Officer for many years, as well as an active researcher and Associate Director of our IDDRC. He will continue to function in all these capacities. He is an expert on clinical and neurobiological aspects of neurodevelopmental disabilities, and as an Associate Director of the IDDRC, he brings this expertise to his multiple roles within the IDDRC.
