Ifeyinwa Udo, M.S
Family Services Caseworker at the Baltimore City Department of Social Services
"My experience at KKI is invaluable. The qualitative and hands-on training approach furnished me with the fundamental skills needed in the helping profession. Today, I think more critically and I accurately conceptualize every case that I receive."
Gina Brelsford (formerly Gina Yanni) Ph.D.
Assistant Professor at Penn State University, Harrisburg
"I believe my training at KKI was integral to my development as a psychologist. I am able to use my training experiences to work with students on their way to becoming therapists and help them conceptualize cases from a family systems perspective. I also have the real world experience of working with families that informs my teaching and research."
Susana Bernad-Ripoll, M.S.
Ph.D. candidate at University of Kansas
"The training received at the Down Syndrome Clinic at Kennedy Krieger Institute under Dr. Capone mentoring has been an amazing opportunity in many ways. It has expanded my knowledge and interests in research on Down Syndrome with comorbid conditions; His caring personality and dedication to families evidenced the impact that we, as professionals, have in their quality of life; and finally it gave me the opportunity to meet within the Institute some of top medical professionals in the field of disability of this country."
Sandy, Ph.D.
Psychology Consultant at the Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, Vancouver, Canada
"My training at KKI was instrumental in helping me to build key areas of competency within these unique populations. Faculty, across both clinics, were highly supportive and offered strong mentorship throughout the year. I would highly recommend KKI for prospective interns that are looking for both a challenging and rewarding training experiences."
