SCIM Fellowship: Application Guidelines

There is one fellowship position available each year starting as of July 1 and ending June 30.

Applications are accepted from January 1 through September 1. Interviews are ongoing but end as of mid-September. We are currently accepting applications for the 2018-2019 academic year.

We participate in the NRMP program and our match date is in October. Registration in this match process is mandatory. You may begin the match process by registering here.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS REQUIRES:

  1. The applicant must be in good standing in an ACGME accredited residency program.
  2. The applicant must submit the following:
    a) A letter outlining applicants personal goals and objectives and how they would pertain to the program
    b) A copy of your latest curriculum vitae
    c) Three letters of recommendation
  3. An initial phone interview with the Program Director will be conducted to determine if a site visit should follow. The site visit includes a tour of our facilities, a meet and greet with the staff, and additional interviews with senior faculty.

The Fellowship Program application process is completed through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). The application form is available at http://www.nrmp.org.
