Eric H. Kossoff, MD

Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine

Dr. Kossoff is a member of The John M. Freeman Pediatric Epilepsy Center, as well as the Division of Pediatric Neurology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is the Director of the pediatric neurology training program. His clinical practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood seizures and epilepsy, most notably non-pharmacologic treatment of epilepsy (diets, surgery, and electrical stimulation). 

Dr. Kossoff's clinical and research interests include the ketogenic and modified Atkins diets, infantile spasms, hemispherectomy, migraine and Sturge-Weber syndrome (SWS).
