Motorcycle Toy Ride

June 23, 2012, 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm

The Harley Store
8845 Pulaski Highway
Middle River, MD 21220

About the Event:

On Saturday, June 23, ride into summer as 500 motorcycle riders cruise the beltway to deliver toys to children during Kennedy Krieger Institute's 14th Annual Motorcycle Toy Ride and Family Picnic. Motorcyclists will depart from the Harley-Davidson store in Middle River with their motorcycles full of toys and will roar into Kennedy Krieger's Greenspring campus where children, dressed in their summer best, will greet them.

In addition to delivering toys, the Toy Ride also raises critical funds to support the Kara Darchicourt Special Needs Fund. The Special Needs Fund was created by the Darchicourt family, founders of the Toy Ride, in memory of their daughter Kara. Donations will support a Special Needs Fund to provide financial awards to individuals with cerebral palsy for uncovered medical expenses and support services. Since its inception, the Toy Ride has raised nearly $20,000 in funds for the children at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
