Bike to the Beach: A Charity Event for Autism

July 31, 2015, 4:00 am to 7:00 pm

Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle School
1425 E. Fort Avenue
Baltimore, MD

Bike to the Beach is hosting its 3rd annual charity event from Baltimore to Dewey Beach, Del.

Six staff members from our Kennedy Krieger Montgomery County School will participate in their first bike ride to raise money for autism awareness and research.

Each staff participating needs to raise at least $500 by July 31. 80% of that money will come directly back to our campus to be used in the students’ programming. Although we are still brainstorming additional opportunities to use these funds to benefit the student programs, some possible ideas include: the purchase of tandem bikes, recumbent bikes, or greenhouses.
