About this Event:

In this course, presenter Rondalyn Whitney, PhD, OT/L, will provide an overview of the neurological structures of the brain related to somatosensory processing, the theoretical rational behind Ayre’s sensory integration theory, empirically-supported treatment, and implications for practice. This information will provide practitioners insight for designing and implementing intervention programs in a variety of settings for children identified with maladaptive sensory processing. This course will move at a brisk pace. Those who pre-register will receive review materials before the course to support a rich dialogue among participants and the course leader.
