Staffing (Licensure)

Kennedy Krieger nurses are licensed by the Maryland Board of Nursing and compact states.

All graduates of nurse practitioner programs are approved by the Maryland State Board of Nursing. Registered nurses have graduated from schools accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and the respective state nursing board. Nursing technicians have completed a course approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) and are certified nursing assistants.
