On June 30, 2019, the Interactive Autism Network (IAN) research project closed and no is longer accepting research participants. We encourage U.S. residents to join SPARK and others to join a local research registry.

Select articles from the original IAN community website have been archived here. This archive is not complete, and some articles may no longer include hyperlinks or photos that appeared in their original versions. Additionally, some articles may contain language surrounding diagnoses or disorders that was widely used at the time of publication, but which is no longer used or applicable. All articles in this collection are marked with original publication and last updated dates, when available.

If you are a researcher, IAN is not accepting applications for subject recruitment assistance projects. IAN recommends that you contact SPARK, which offers a similar service. Find out more at https://www.sfari.org/resource/spark/

IAN’s de-identified data set is available to researchers on a limited basis. To inquire further, please contact IAN’s principal investigator, Dr. Paul Lipkin at Lipkin@KennedyKrieger.org.

Thanks to all of the families and researchers who helped advance autism knowledge.
