About the Event:

During this presentation, parents and caregivers will learn how to join and expand their child's play to promote higher levels of engagement and learning. Presenters for this event include:

Kerry Buechler, BA, has worked with preschool-aged children on the autism spectrum at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) since 2007. Her roles have included classroom teacher, individual interventionist, coach, and provider of in-home parent training.

Becky Zimmerman, BS, has worked on various research projects since joining the CARD team in 2008. She is currently a research assistant and interventionist in the Early Achievements classroom for toddlers on the autism spectrum. She provides parent training and in-home coaching.

Both Kerry and Becky are Master's candidates in early childhood special education at the Johns Hopkins University and will graduate in 2012.

This is a FREE training for parents, family members, and professionals. Registration is required.
