National Federation of the Blind Recognizes POG for Work on Employment Act
The National Federation of the Blind recognized Ken Capone, self-advocacy program director for People On the Go Maryland (POG), and Mat Rice, POG’s public policy advocate, on Oct. 29 for their advocacy work in the passage of the Ken Capone Equal Employment Act, which ends subminimum wage for Marylanders with disabilities. POG is a partner of the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities.
