MCDD Presents 10 Posters at AUCD Conference

Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (MCDD) staff members and trainees presented 10 posters at the Dec. 5 annual conference of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) in Washington, D.C.

Poster topics included the use of assistive technology in special education, ending suspensions and expulsions for young students, statewide needs of transition-age youth, and passage of the Ken Capone Equal Employment Act, which ends subminimum wage for Marylanders with disabilities. All posters can be viewed here.

AUCD is a membership organization that supports and promotes a national network of university-based interdisciplinary programs, including MCDD.
