MCDD Partners Featured at AAIDD Conference

On June 6, 2016, the MCDD led a panel discussion at the annual meeting of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in Atlanta, Georgia, which featured content around the theme “The Meaning of Professional in an Era of Change.”

The MCDD was joined by colleagues including Mat Rice, public policy advocate from People On the Go of Maryland; Christy Russell, the president and founder of Kinera Foundation; Mike Bullis, executive director of the IMAGE Center; and Jennifer Eastman, director of community living policy at the Maryland Department of Disabilities.

Led by MCDD business manager Christine Schoenberger, the panel discussed ways in which they have partnered with the MCDD to achieve shared goals and to build complementary skill sets as disability professionals.
