8 Students Train with the MCDD

Preparing future leaders from a wide range of disciplines is a cornerstone of the MCDD mission. Each year, the MCDD provides meaningful work and learning opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students.

Spring Trainees

  • Kelsey Crowley is a candidate for a bachelor’s degree in health care management at Towson University. In the spring, Kelsey will intern 40 hours per week with the MCDD to fulfill her field work experience.
  • Erin Ward is a candidate for a bachelor’s degree in health science at Towson University. In the spring, Erin will complete her degree requirements as a full-time MCDD trainee.
  • Timothy Carney is a candidate for a bachelor’s degree in public health at Saint Francis University. Timothy will spend 40 hours per week for the first seven weeks of his field experience as an intern with the MCDD.
  • Tyler Babich is a first-year law student at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. During the spring, Tyler will spend four hours per week volunteering with Project HEAL.
  • Nicole Daya is a second-year law student at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. During the spring semester, Nicole will spend 16 hours per week as an extern for Project HEAL.
  • Dena Robinson is a second-year law student at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. During the spring semester, Dena will spend 10 hours per week as an extern for Project HEAL.
  • Kirsten Smulovitz is a second-year law student at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, returning for her third semester as a Project HEAL trainee. During the spring semester, Kirsten will spend 4 hours per week volunteering with Project HEAL.
  • Danielle Wiggins is a second-year law student at the University of Baltimore School of Law. During the spring semester, Danielle will spend 8 hours per week volunteering with Project HEAL.
