Research/Program Evaluation

Therapeutic Foster Care contracts with the Children’s Outcome Management Center (COMC), a unit of the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry for the use of their KIDnet outcome data base system. KIDnet is used in the development of treatment plans, quality improvement/program evaluation, and research. KIDnet is a data outcome management system designed to gather information on youth outcomes in the following areas:

  • Background Information on Youth Served
  • Information on the Treatment Process
  • Outcome Information
  • Child and Adolescent Strengths and Needs Assessment (CANS)
