Dr. Paul Law, co-author of a recent study by the Kennedy Krieger Institute, speaks to a phenomenon known as wandering. Alison Singer, Co-Founder & President of the Autism Science Foundation describes her own experiences with her 15 year old daughter and how more than 49% of autistic children have been put at risk by this behavior.

The annual Motorcycle Toy Ride is held every fall to donate toys to the children of Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Inpatient Unit and Autism program. For more than 10 years motorcycle riders from all across the region meet at the Harley Davidson Store, on Route 40 East, before the motorcade arrives at the Broadway Campus of Kennedy Krieger Institute to greet the children with toys and good cheer.
