The Effects of ADHD (Beyond Decoding Accuracy) on Reading Fluency and Comprehension
Principal Investigator: Mark Mahone
The central goal of this project is to understand how ADHD influences processing speed (as it relates to reading speed/fluency), working memory, and reading comprehension. Specifically, we will examine how different components of processing speed and working memory give rise to reading comprehension difficulties (RCD) in children with ADHD who do not have word reading difficulties (WRD) or other more basic language impairments.
