Your Child's Room

Inpatient rooms are semi-private and multi-bed. Room assignments are based on medical needs, age, and gender, which may necessitate room changes during your child's stay. We strive to keep room changes at a minimum. We encourage children and adolescents to decorate their rooms with reminders of home.

Televisions: Every room has a cable TV. All televisions must be turned off during the daily rest period (noon to 2:00 p.m.) and at bedtime.

Telephone: Each room has at least one telephone. To make a local outside call, dial 9, then the number, including the area code. All long distance calls must be collect or charged to your telephone credit card.

Bedtime: Bedtimes range from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m., depending on the age and needs of the patient. Children have a daily rest period from noon to 2:00 p.m.
