Using iPads in the Classroom

This presentation will provide suggestions as to how to effectively integrate iPads into instruction, as well as demonstrate several of the apps throughout. Participants will walk away with a deeper knowledge of what is out there and where to look for more apps of relevance!

Presenters:

  • Deidre Rabuck, MSEd.

    Deirdre was a classroom teacher working with students on the Autism Spectrum for 18 years. She received her Master’s in Severe Disabilities and Autism from the Johns Hopkins University. She is currently the Assistant Principal at Kennedy Krieger, Montgomery County Campus.

  • Shaun O'Branski, MSEd.

    Shaun has been a Special Educator for 8 years, working with students who have a wide range of disabilities. She spent four years teaching in the Baltimore County School District and is in her fourth year of teaching at Kennedy Krieger’s Fairmount Campus as a Lead Teacher. She received her Master’s in Supervision and Administration from Johns Hopkins University and is currently enrolled in the University’s Mind, Brain and Teaching Graduate Certificate Program.
