Therapeutic Foster Care: Sex Trafficking

November 04, 2015, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Therapeutic Foster Care
2901 E. Biddle Street
Baltimore, MD 21213

About The Event

Sex trafficking is not something that only happens in foreign countries; it is happening here in the United States. It is estimated that at least 100,000 children a year, average age 13, are victims of commercial sexual exploitation. Participants will discuss who is vulnerable and why, the approaches used by pimps and traffickers, warning signs and prevention measures. Through a 20-minute video, participants will hear from two young girls who relate how they were “chosen”.
