About the Event:

Join our experts on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Arc of Frederick, Inc., for an informational session on futures and estate planning. This session will include an overview of futures and estate planning; how to plan for the desired future for yourself, family members, or friends; and additional information you should consider when planning for a person with a developmental disability. Speakers for this event include Victoria Sulerzyski, an associate at Ober|Kaler, and Jean Doyle, support coordinator for the Arc of Frederick.

Participants will leave with a copy of the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council's new publication, Planning Now, a futures and estate planning guide for families of children and adults with developmental disabilities, as well as the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities at Kennedy Krieger Institute's futures and estate planning brochure.
