ABOUT THE EVENT:
An explanation of the services and programs offered by The Parents’ Place of Maryland and in particular the Families as Faculty Program. Come hear how you can have an influence on future doctors and policymakers by sharing your experiences with medical students and others during a home visit.
Presenter: Kelly Meissner
Kelly is a wife and is the mother of four children, three of whom have Special Health Care Needs. She has worked at Parents’ Place of Maryland for 6 years and is currently the Special Projects Coordinator. Kelly also serves on many committees representing families of children with special healthcare needs and promoting improvement of services for these children and their families.
This is a FREE training for parents, family members, and professionals. Registration is required.
